Macbeth abandons the security of the castle and believes that the second prophecy of the witches shall protect him ,Young Siward comes upon Macbeth and finally gets his revenge by killing him .Macduff reappears on the scene carrying the dead body of Macbeth out of the castle and Siward announces that the castle has finally surrendered and the war will soon end .
