MISTAKEN IDENTITIES

A beautiful young woman sat on the bench. The wind tossed her dark hair across her pale face creating the expression of Halo flames. The dark weather seemed to represent her melancholy mood, as if to encourage her dark mood a thundering lightning struck at some distance. She had valid and saddening reasons for her mood, several dark and unfortunate events had occurred in their lives. She broke off with her boyfriend within 1 year because of his aggression, the war in the wizarding world were escalating and her parents were causalities of the war. Her sister blamed her for the death of their parents.

Lily felt lonely in this world she had no place to go even Petunia her own sister turned her back on her. She had finally graduated from her boarding school but she wasn’t anymore moving in with her boyfriend as they had planned. Lily always felt that she didn’t belong here, when finally, she discovered that she is a witch she felt finally she can start over her life. Magic was everything to her she had spent enormous amount of time learning magic all that she could but she still felt something was always missing but she didn’t have any idea what it was. This feeling was even worse than being alone.

She had a dream last night again. The same dream she has every time when she is sad or lonely. She always saw someone, a male someone. The male lived in a glittering castle on a beautiful planet. Someone was punishing her casting magical spells on her giving her excruciating pain but she could never discover why she was being tortured with such inhuman pain. She would be twisted into new shapes, these dreams never failed to wake her up in cold sweat. She never saw faces in her dreams but the dreams were very real. The dreams felt like experiences of past life.

“Do you need some assistance, my lady”? a deep voice questioned

Startled, Lily looked up.

Thor did not know what to make of Cassguard, it was a vert strange place. There existed weird small creatures who were riding on weird mechanical beasts. The cities were very loud and disorganized with no food easily available. Thor never wanted to come on Cassguard he was better off going to adventures with his friends will and jack fighting evil creatures, his dad forced him to this place to organize this planet again so that life could exist here. Thor was here to prove a point, earlier he was going to Midgard and he felt nothing could go wrong with this place but the place ended up exploding. Thor lost all of his pride and he was here to prove his dad his worthiness.

Now that he is actually here, he feels he should’ve though this through a bit more. This place was completely different from is home Assguard. Heimdall one of Thors courts person provided him with some money which provided him with a start at least. Thor can easily blend into the strange world customs, at the end of the day he is the mighty king of Assguard.

A loud honking like that of an angry goose sounded. Thor turned to his left where he saw a strange metal beast being controlled by an angry man who was giving him weird frowny expressions. Confused Thor walked away because he needed to find lodging for the night and a store from where he could buy some necessities. While on his expedition to find the lodging Thor was missing his brother Loki , he was way more adaptive and smart than Thor was . Thor hasn’t seen Loki in years which isn’t a long time for the Asgardians but it was the longest time Thor and Loki had stayed away.

Just as he was beginning to feel truly lost, he notices a beautiful young woman sitting on her bench. She was very beautiful with fiery dark hair; he had never seen someone so beautiful. The woman looked as lost as himself, he decided to approach her. Perhaps together they won’t feel lost and they can both help each other make their bad days better.

“Do you need some assistance, my lady” he greeted

She looked up with her green emerald eyes , up close she was even better

“My lady” she questioned smirking at him

“Of course, one as lovely as you could be nothing else” Thor said sincerely

She laughed and glanced away blushing.” You actually mean that, you’re even cornier than Potter”

“I don’t know any potter, would you like to accompany me for a meal” Thor asked” I am new to this area it would be better to have someone familiar around”

“ I am not in a good mood, I am afraid I wouldn’t be a good company “ she said softly

“I disagree I am also feeling lonely and homesick and I believe having a new friend around will be much better” Thor smiled at her giving her a hopeful look, that charm never failed on his brother.

“oh, all right. It’s better than sitting alone but please stop with that cringey puppy looks “

Thor grinned at offered his arm” let us now find the nearest pub to enlighten our mood after this bad day. Oh! What is your name fairy maiden?”

“Lily, Lily Evans”

“The lovely Lily I am very pleased to meet you. You have surely brightened my day and I will endeavour you the same for you. I am Thor” Thor boomed

“ what have I gotten myself into” lily muttered under soft breath

But to her surprise Lily was soon proven wrong. After her had gotten past her eccentricities she found out what a wonderful man Thor is. He was boisterous but kind. He reminded her a great deal of Golden retriever, always happy to help.

Lily and Thor had spent the next two weeks together. They both frequently met for long walks and meals. Lily felt like she had known Thor for a long time, he felt the same. In her entire life she had never been so comfortable with anyone. Thor and Lily had made most of their time together but it was now time for Thor to return in any circumstance he couldn’t stay. But before leaving her told her his truth that he is the prince of Assguard, lily also revealed the truth about her that she was a witch. Now further they couldn’t meet for at least 9 months.

Soon Lily became pregnant and feared that her son might be the child of god. A part of her wanted to run away, soon her ex-boyfriend came to check up on her but soon their romance rekindled. Lily revealed everything to James and they soon got married, James accepted the boy as their son and was excited to know who his father was. James and Lily named him Harry James Potter. Harry was a name from Norse origin to honour his biological father, James was for his adoptive father and potter was just his surname .

James and Lily re-joined the war in an effort to destroy the prejudices against them. Their future was looking up until a dark wizard attacked them. They both stood together and didn’t believe revealing Harry’s parentage would be such a risk. Both of them sacrificed their lives to protect their son however it wasn’t really the end for Lily Potter Nee Evans, she never even really existed. The Evans family never even had a second daughter, it was all a well-crafted lie made everyone live in a dilemma. It was a lie crafted to punish Odin’s youngest son, the trickster shape shaping had causes untold damages between Odin and his kingdom. As a punishment for Loki’s transfiguration it stripped Loki of his powers. He bounded him in a female form, and deaged him into an infant. Odin placed him in a suitable family who could teach him morals he failed to teach. When time came he will restore the memories of Loki and hopefully he would’ve grown into the mature prince he knew was capable of being the King.

Odin didn’t plan on retaining some of his powers or involving him in a mortal war. Odin alone was alerted that Loki had been killed. His wife was unaware that he has sent his son to earth because she would’ve never approved but Odin was desperate to change Loki’s way, not even Heimdall would be able to locate Loki after Odin stripped his powers. Odin had checked on Loki time after time to ensure he is growing but never imagined Loki would die in his new life. When Odin was alerted of this misfortunate thing he went to Earth where he found his body in a crib. Shock flowed through him when he found out that Loki has given birth to a child and he had sacrificed his life for his child. Outside the house Odin could see a half mortal giant who held a small wriggling bunch in his hand. Finally the conversation ended with the giant taking the child away on his air bike.

Leaving a duplicate body for the witches Odin took Loki to Assguard. Odin restored Loki’s power and thus restored Loki to life. The magic that feel on Loki could not kill an immortal soul. But the curse had caused Loki to loose all the memories associated to Lily. He didn’t remember a thing and Odin felt it was the best for him. However Odin knew Loki’s child had survived and he thought it would be better if he left Loki’s child among other mortal souls. Besides, the without the memories of Loki as a mortal he still was a wayward as he always was. Odin did not think Loki was fit to raise his child.

So little Harry James Potter was left alone on earth among those mortal souls, forgotten by one parent and unknown to the other. It wouldn’t be until Loki’s fall from the Bifrost into the void beneath that he would regain his memories. When he did, it will change everything.
